"Excuse me! Hello?" An Alkarnabi stands atop a hill in front of a portal- the same portal you saw in the vision! The run toward you in a hurry. "Please help me, my friends have been captured!" You recognise their voice now, as one of the voices from your recent dreams.
"My name is Lucidem, but please call me Lucy. Will you please follow me?" You nod solemnly, already aware that this is the reason why you are here. "Thank you, friend." He turns and heads back to the portal on the hill, forgetting to ask for your name. You let it slide, knowing that the situation is dire.
As you approach the portal, Lucidem paces nearby. "I should fill you in on what has happened so far. Will you listen?"
